Michigan Boy Bitten by Dog

Arrested for dog bite
A boy on vacation with his family from Michigan was walking his poodle on East Fox Lair Drive on Thursday when a large pit bull ran down a driveway and attacked his dog and bit the boy on the hand.

According to the police report, the owner of the other dog immediately ran down his driveway and restrained the other animal. The man told police that his dog was not on a leash, but that it had been in his front yard and the boy had allowed the dog to wander onto his driveway as it was on a long leash.

The officer went to visit the poodle at the veterinary hospital and the vet told them it might have a punctured lung or intestine. The owner of the pit bull offered to pay for the vet bill and was cited and released for having a vicious dog unconfined with a bite.
